Vini Jr. is now back! Six lessons were gained from Madrid's star Brazilian's dramatic late victory against Milan in an exciting friendly.

Real Madrid has been the subject of a lot of discussion this summer on a winger they do not own. They might not, however, require Kylian Mbappe right now. They might already have a winger with greater influence. Vinicius made a strong case for it against Milan over a standout 45 minutes, scoring the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory.

But the arrival of Vinicius brought about a change. After Marco Sportiello made a mistake in the Milan goal, Federico Valverde ended the move, which was started by the Brazilian and led to Los Blancos' opening goal. Three minutes later, Valverde added a second with a skillfully placed shot from the top of the box.

With less than 10 minutes left, Vinicius ultimately provided the winning goal, sneaking in behind the Milan defence and putting the ball in the bottom corner.

The magician from Brazil is back

Naturally, Madrid would have preferred to retain both Vinicius and Benzema. For the past three years, the dynamic tandem has been essential to this team's success. The two consistently work together to make Los Blancos one of the strongest attacking teams in Europe.

Vinicius, though, demonstrated that he can contribute much on his own in this situation. The Brazilian, who operated more as an inside forward than a touchline winger, was lethal when Los Blancos broke quickly. He frequently came from behind, came up short, and scampered at the defenders. He received the customary couple of kicks from irate defenders for his antics and flips. Kylian, where are you?

Although Vinicius may have contributed in this regard, Madrid still requires a central striker. At this moment, it is largely anticipated that the Spanish powerhouses will close the Mbappe deal. Madrid obviously lacks a goalscorer to play in the middle, while PSG has made it apparent that their best player is for sale. Joselu is not the goal-scoring machine they need, despite all of his skillful runs and persistent pressuring.

Arda Guler has no time.

The 'Turkish Messi' was signed by Madrid last week to considerable excitement. However, this was an addition that wasn't really necessary. Madrid has several of talented attacking players. Despite how great he is, Guler doesn't seem to have anything unique to give.

They have Bellingham and Rodrygo for dribbling and quickness. With Luka Modric, they have sharp passes. And they have Vinicius for pure quality. It's difficult to see what exactly Guler can offer when Mbappe is expected to arrive.

And he wasn't given an opportunity to show otherwise in this situation. From the very beginning, Diaz was favoured over him, and when Ancelotti wanted to substitute an offensive midfielder, he turned to academy graduate Nico Paz. 

Ancelotti has stated that Guler will remain this season, thus Guler will probably play at some point. Yet, this felt like the perfect competition for him to demonstrate his membership. He might have to wait for his turn, it seems.
